Conditions vary with different clients; our physiotherapist will design a tailor-made treatment plan after detailed consultation and assessment.
In general, usually 3-5 physiotherapy sessions are enough to cure minor or mild pain, whilst longer rehabilitation periods are required for more serious cases or post-operative conditions.
Consultation – physiotherapist asks the client about the pain, medical history, work, and lifestyle etc. to get a preliminary impression.
Clinical Assessment – physiotherapist observes, palpates, performs clinical tests and manual muscle tests to get a diagnosis and design a tailor-made treatment plan
Tailor-made treatment and Exercise – physiotherapist then conducts tailor-made treatments including but not limited to manual therapy, radiofrequency and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, interferential therapy, shockwave therapy, ultrasound therapy, high energy laser therapy, high energy inductive therapy, trigger-point acupuncture and exercise therapy to achieve optimal results.
Physiotherapy is generally indicated when pain, stiffness or major discomfort is reported. On the other hand, sports massage aims to speed up recovery post-exercise soreness and fatigue and is recommended for individuals that exercise frequently.
Yes, according to current Hong Kong laws, physiotherapy can only be provided upon a valid referral issued by a registered doctor in Hong Kong. Physiotherapy referral letters are generally valid for 6 months.

Physiotherapy is usually covered under accident insurance, medical insurance, corporate medical insurance, employees’ compensation insurance etc. You should consult your insurance agent / insurance service provider to get more details on your coverage.
All our physiotherapy service is provided by our registered physiotherapists. We shall issue official receipt after each physiotherapy session to our client so that they can claim under their insurance.
