MOBILIZE 物理治療中心

Posture and Body Alignment Correction

Excessive use of mobile phones and the work-from-home trend are habits that contribute to poor posture, leading to neck, shoulder, and back pain. Over time, the accumulation of pain can significantly impact our daily lives, causing joint stiffness, decreased muscle endurance, and other symptoms.

Posture and body alignment correction therapy is a treatment method aimed at improving posture and adjusting body structure. Common neck, shoulder, and back pain in urban populations can worsen under the influence of poor posture, and posture correction can prevent these pains from becoming more severe. Additionally, athletes can use posture correction to identify muscle imbalances, focusing on strengthening weaker areas. By improving posture and adopting good daily habits, we can reduce and prevent pain caused by poor posture.

Who Can Benefit from Posture Correction Therapy?

Cervical Spine Correction

Forward head posture, "dowager's hump," "turtle neck," cervical stiffness, and more.

Shoulder and Upper Limb Correction

Rounded shoulders, uneven shoulders, winged scapula, humeral anterior displacement, rib flare, and more.

Thoracic Spine Correction

Hunched back, thoracic rotation, scoliosis, lumbar lordosis, and more.

Pelvic Correction

Anterior/posterior pelvic tilt, pelvic tilt, hip internal rotation, and more.

Lower Limb Correction

Knee varus/valgus (X/O-shaped legs), leg length discrepancy, flat feet, bunions, and more.

The human body’s anatomical structure is interconnected, making it difficult to discuss the musculoskeletal system in isolation. For example, the neck affects the lumbar spine, the feet affect the pelvis, and the shoulders affect the wrists and hands. Therefore, our posture correction therapy plan offers a holistic treatment approach, addressing issues in various areas of the body for comprehensive adjustment.

Throughout the treatment process, we use a variety of techniques, such as deep tissue massage, passive stretching, soft tissue release, trigger point deactivation, and gentle mobilization, to improve muscle tension, enhance flexibility, and alleviate discomfort. We will also guide you through simple muscle exercises to help you continue self-practice after treatment, ensuring long-term posture maintenance and improvement.

Testimonials & Reviews

I had never been a believer in physio therapy in the past or that my experience with multiple chain medical physiotherapy center had brought me nothing but temporary improvements. Until I had came across mobilize physiotherapy where they take the extra mile to examine your situation and tailor a physiotherapy session. The physiotherapists at Mobilize not only identifies the root cause and provide massages for pain relievers but also to provide take home exercises for improvements. I was never rush out the door for the next session and they ensure that I had receive the right treatment before the session ends.

As someone who regularly goes through the torment of backpain and neck pain, I was recommended by my friend to visit Mobilize Physiotherapy.
Everything - from appointment booking to the physiotherapy session itself - was very professional. Not only did Avery, my physiotherapist. give detailed explanations as he worked through my areas of pain, he taught me a few exercises that improve my core strength, which in turn could reduce my back and neck pain. Now, whenever I experience acute pain, I do these exercises and the pain eases away!
I highly recommend Mobilize Physiotherapy.

After suffering years of chronic knee issues after ACL reconstructive surgery I was recommended to this clinic and the results were amazing. The centre does not only focus on pain relief but with an extremely holistic approach, assesses the root cause of pain and focuses on return to sports and performance once the pain diminishes. Most physiotherapy centres in Hong Kong do not even offer this level of attention to detail and service and would highly recommend to anyone having chronic pains or want to have proper post orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation!
